Living life with a disability can be challenging enough, but when you have to fight for the benefits that you are owed by the government, things can become even more difficult. So, who do you turn to when things don't go as you had hoped? Who will help you? This is something that I had to go through with my daughter. She suffers from a brain disorder that prevents her from doing the things that many of us take for granted each day. When I applied for her disability benefits, I was shocked to get a letter of denial. That was when I started learning about what steps to take in this situation.
